Anyone know anything of the history of a Liberator - KH246 and its crew with 37 squadron, based at Foggia. Pilot officer Porter was the pilot.

Hi Keith

No.37 (B) Squadron was part of No.205 Group, Mediterranean Allied Air Forces. It became operational with the Consolidated Liberator B.Mk.VI in October 1944 after converting from the Vickers Wellington B.Mk.X. At that time, the squadron was located at Foggia No.2/Tortorella, Italy and remained there until it re-located to Aqir, Palestine on the 16th of October 1945. No.37 (B) Squadron's code was LF.

Cheers...Chris
