I recently picked up a photo album that was once the property of a member of the crew of a 36 Sqn Wellington. the album shows the crew going from Palestine through Egypt Tunisia, Italy and finally back to the UK, Chivenor and Benbecula in the outer Hebrides.

I believe the pilots name was Jack Whelan

and the rest of the crew's first name s were Tony, Bill, Frank, Gordon and another who was the owner of this album.

They regularly flew Whimpey 'J' for Johnny which was possibly a Mk XlV.

Any help with the identity of this crew appreciated.
