Looking for details of an incident involving the loss of a 600 Sqn Beaufighter being flow by R S Woodward on Saturday 20th September 1941.
The aircraft was abandoned by Woodward but his observer failed to get out and was killed. The Obs name was Sgt Alfred John Lipscombe.
aircraft identity and any further details would be appreciated. Does anyone know of any books on 600 Sqn and their activities?
