Joyce,

Will e/mail you with details of 514sqdn Association address, have looked through Commonwealth War Graves site and it seems that out of your list Flying Officer R.J. Curtis was the only one that did not survive the war, he was killed on 2/5/44 on Ops to Chambly and is buried with his crew in St Sever cemetery Rouen.

Hello Alan,

Thankyou for checking this for me. I would presume that F/O R.J. Curtis also volounteered to go with another crew that did not make it.

I do not know if the other surviving crew members were British or Canadian, but whatever I would like to hear from one of them if at all possible. Thanks for your interest

Joyce
