Hi,

Jostle equipment was a jamming transmitter carried in the aircraft.

It was quite a large unit, and along with its operator, took up most of the space in the fuselage.

Later in the war the sets were mounted/carried on trucks.

Regards

Ross

Hi Stephen

No.214 'Federated Malay States' (Bomber Support) Squadron operated the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress Mk.II and later the Mk.III in radar counter-measures duties with No.100 Group from January 1944 to July 1945.

Cheers...Chris

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the info. There seems to be so many codewords it's hard to keep up sometimes.

Cheers.
