I am looking for info about code letters and fate. My source said that it was attached to No. 138 Sq and shot down on 17.9.43 over Denmark, killed 5 of 7 Polish crewmembers.

shot down by Lt. Richard Burdyna 11./NJG 3

chrashed/force landed by Slaglille (Denmark) and hit a house

that was set on fire and killed five Danes...

5 crewmembers and the five danes are buried at Slaglille

survivors Tadeusz Miecznik escaped to Sweden and

Puchala became POW...

all this from Carsten Petersens (occasinally on this board) excellent books about the airwar over Denmark..
