Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a location, Date or Details for Dominie R9563.

All I have is that it crashed sometime in July 1941 and that it was with 782 Sqn.

I dont have any more than that though.

Regards Scott

Can anyone provide anything different to this account as it is some what Confused.

Thanks for the Data Alan.

This is confusing as Stonehaven is in Aberdeenshire some miles away from Cowie which is near Stirling.

This really does need some more looking into.

Anyone else have a different book with either the same or different data.

Regards Scott

Thanks Mackz,

That cleared the problem up. The Kincardine in the message after the Cowie part confused me.

Regards Scott.

I think you'll find Stonehaven was the county town of Kincardineshire.

Hello Alan,

Sorry to correct your info. I think not 2/Lt J.L. Day - RA was killed in the accident but

Abel Seaman Leslie J. Day - C/JX.201683 - RN/HMS Sparrowhawk - buried same location as Jones, Dobson and Tennyson (Dunfermline [Douglas Bank] Cemetery, Fifeshire).

Mr. Young is listed Civilian War Dead RoH County of Kincardine. Unfortunately no info on burial location of Mr. McCabe.

Regards,

Henk.

Henk and Scott,

THanks for correction. I was quoting from Air Britan book and did not check CWG records.
