'Unaccounted' airmen 29-1-1940

What caused the death of the following airmen, according to The Times both killed on active service.

Sgt (Pilot) Eric J. TINDAL - 740407 - buried Pwllheli Borough Cem., Caerns., and

LAC (Ag u/t) Cyril F. BRADES- 755593 - buried Windsor Cem., New Windsor, Berkshire.

They may have been on Wallace II - K4015 - 9 BGS, aircraft abandoned 4 miles NW of Pwllheli, Caerns.

Both of these were killed in Wallace K4015, they are recorded in the Penrhos ORB. This is not a direct quote but my notes, "29/1/40 09:10 Wallace a/c crashed at Four Crosses, 7 miles from Penrhos, (P) 740407 Segt E. J. Tindall and (Pass) 755593 LAC C. F. Brades, Killed."
