What caused the death of the following airmen, according to The Times killed on active service:

F/O (Pilot) Kenneth R.W. SHRIMPTON - 42652, buried Bournemouth (Wimborne Road) Cem., Hampshire (UK4757), and

AC1 Walter CHRITCHLEY - 619014, buried Leigh Cem., Lancashire (UK677).

They may have been killed on Oxford I - N6320 - 15 FTS - flew into high ground Bridge of Glenbuchat, Aberdcornshire.

death cert shows place of death for both these airmen as Ladder Hill, Strathdon, some 10 miles west of Bridge of Glenbuchat.
