What caused the death of AC2 Andrew D. MENZIES - 633568 - according to Flight archives 'Died of wounds or injuries received on active service', buried Dundee Eastern Necropolis, Angus (UK8175).

No suggestion for a possible aircraft write-off.

Regards and thanks for your help.

Henk.

Yes Jonny, have the intention doing the whole conflict (if the Lord will give me the time for it). Don't have the intention ever to publish a book or create a website, but will use the collected info to answer questions on websites like this one from Ross McNeill.

Aged 74, no descendants, but in the last will will be a name of a person or (air war research) group.

Regards,

Henk.

It is vitally important that this unique dataset so laboriously put together by Henk should be made available to future researchers. I hope he has got an "off-site" backup copy of his data somewhere. It could be as important as Chorley, etc, etc,
