What caused the death of the following airmen, according to Flight archives all killed on active service:

AC1 William A. AUGOOD - 653108, buried Norwich Cem., Norfolk (UK2667).

Sgt (Pilot) James HOLMES - 748369, buried Manchester Southern Cem. (UK717).

Sgt (Obs) Alexander F. SCOTT - 743009, his name commemorated in column 3 of the Glasgow Crematorium (UK7502A).

Suggested aircraft write-offs for this day:

Anson I - N5322 - 8 FFS - dived into ground Montreathmont, Angus.

Anson I - N9599 - 8 FTS - crashed on approach at night, Montrose.
