What caused the death of LAC Arthur MADDY - 536711, who died of wounds or injuries received on active service (Flight Global), buried in the Market Drayton Cem., Shropshire (UK6273).

Suggested a/c write-off:

Regards and thanks for your help.

Henk.

Hi Henk

Arthur Maddy's death is registered at Whitchurch(Ancestry.com). There is a Whitchurch not far from Market Drayton in Shropshire and RAF Ternhill is also close by. Whitchurch is not a unique UK name but I don't think that there is one in Hertfordshire

Regards

Dick
