No.162 Sqn loss 16-2-1944Malcolm,Litcham_Lad & David, Thanks for your help. I still have one problem with this loss. 921009 F/Sgt (Nav./B.) John Douglas JARVIS RAFVR is reported by the CWGC to be buried in Suda Bay War Cemetery, Coll. grave 16. E. 18-20. The rest of the crew are all buried in Coll. grave 13. E. 2-8. Coll grave 16 E. 18-20, is known to be the last resting place of the crew of No.178 Sqn Liberator BZ891 lost on 19-11-1943! Is this just another CWGC error, or is Jarvis actually buried in Suda Bay War Cemetery Coll. grave 16. "1943 - Halifax - 1 ; Liberators - 5. 1944 - Liberators - 27. 1945 - Liberators - 4". Were these the a/c lost ? Confirmation, corrections and additions welcome.
