Details Sgt Wilde forcelanded Thunderbolt Mk1 HD100 in dry water tank. Subsequent rain before salvae coudl be effected resulting in write off of machine. Sgt Wilde grounded pending investigation . [AB]Engine cut, crashlanded 8m NE of Yelahanka. Ac suffered Cat Ac damage and was transferred to 139 RSU. Glaring example of mishandling of petrol cocks. The pilot Wilde, ran out his auxillary tank and has been removed from converstion training.
