P/O Homer "Hap" Armstrong, Canadian Ace in BurmaNot quite an "ace" in the conventional sense in that many of his victories were shared. Chris Shores in "Aces High" (plus supplement) give the following - all with No.135 Squadron and those of 27 March and 31 March 1943 on Hurricane IIB HW309: 5 March 1943 - One "Oscar" probably destroyed, Akyab area. 27 March 1943 - one "Lilly" destroyed on his own, one destroyed (shared with another pilot), one destroyed (shared with two other pilots), all in Ramu-Bawli Bazaar area. 31 March 1943 - one "Oscar" destroyed, East Buthidaung.
