MAAF Amendola 1944Thank you Simon, that clears up one or two things. i did not know the aircraft reg. Or location of the crash site. my wife and I visited the cemetery in Hungary a few years ago and took some photographs. I have a photo of some of the crew given me by my father, and it also appears in "To Hell and Back" by Mel Rolfe, ISBN 1-898697-70-1. I recall my grandfather saying that he was visited by two survivors after the war and that ties in with your information. thanks again! [QUOTE=wwrsimon;103183]Hello Bill Welcome to RAFCommands.
