141 Squadron Blenheim crew, April 1940.Hello all, Blenheim L1500 of 141 Squadron crashed on a hillside at Kippen, near Stirling on 6 April 1940. The ORB - no F.541 at this time - only names the pilot, 41313 P/O Russell Ernest Orchard. All three on board were injured. On the 'FLIGHT' Archives website for 16 May 1940 the following are named in the 'Injured' category along with P/O Orchard; 581395 Sgt. Alexander John Kenny and 650905 AC2 Edward Alexander Coates. These could well be the Observer and Wireless Operator/Air Gunner on board but I can find no proof to be sure of this. Can anyone please link one or both to 141 Squadron around this time ? None of the three flew in the Battle of Britain with Fighter Command. Regards, Martin Gleeson. ....Read More.Martin Gleeson on 5th April 2016 10:42:49
