N87 Sqdn Hurricanes interned in BelgiumHello The AIR 81 class at Kew has several files which may be helpful about these cases : AIR 81/44 Pilot Officer H J R Dunn : interned; Hurricane L1619 landed near Courtrai, Belgium, 10 November 1939; escaped and rejoined unit on 24 November 1939 AIR 81/48 Flying Officer R L Glyde : interned; Hurricane L1813 landed near Coxyde (Koksijde), Belgium, 14 November 1939; escaped and rejoined unit on 24 November 1939 LK-O AIR 81/49 Squadron Leader W Coope : interned; Hurricane L1628 landed near Le Parme, Belgium, 14 November 1939; escaped and rejoined unit on 24 November 1939 read "La Panne" obviously another file for Glyde when he failed to return on 13th August 1940. Casualty packs are a real goldmine with many snippets of information, sadly more when the airman/airmen were killed in action. Really worth checking.
