S/Ldr Ernest Frank Sly DFC AFMHello, "Does anyone know when/where this incident happened?" l think it was one of the following: 1/ 9/7/1940 Oxford P1890 - 15 SFTS - Collided with (Oxford) N6326 near Charlbury, Oxon. Oxford N6326 - 15 SFTS - Collided with (Oxford) and crashed at Fawler, Oxon. 2/ 3/8/1940 Oxford P1821 - 3 SFTS - Collided with (Oxford) P1955 and crashed near South Cerney. Oxford P1955 - 3 SFTS - Collided with (Oxford) P1821 and crash-landed. 3/ 20/8/1940 Oxford P1834 - 14 SFTS - Collided with (Oxford) P8827 and crashed near Cranfield. Oxford P8827 - 2 SFTS (?) - Apparently, landed safely as further history. Find the crews, and you might have an answer! Oh yes!
