Fate of Hurricane P3920Good Morning, Can anyone tell the unit Hurricane P3920 was belonged to when it was lost on 5 Februry 1941 over the Channel. From A-B source, it is said 1 Sqn RCAF (something impossible as the 1 was in Scotland at that time), but I have been told of 234 Sqn as well. Fate of Hurricane P3920Slight confusion here. Hurricane P3920 was with 238 Squadron in 1940 and was lost with 1 Squadron RAF on 5 February 1941 (F/O R. G. Lewis). 234 Squadron flew Spitfires at this time. The Form 78 has two entries for 7-11-1940, the first showing it was Taken On Charge by 1 RCAF Sqn. and the second - and last - by 1 Sqn.
