Harvard crash 26.01.1940 F/O (The Hon) Drogo MontaguHarvard P5862 crashed at or near Aston Down 26/01/1940, Montagu, and his pupil, Taylor GS 36199 were killed. Both deaths are registered at Stroud. A Google search on 'Montagu' throws up many reference to the family, however I note that The Huntingdonshire Roll of Honour incorrectly places Drogo's death in Scotland.
