Wellington IC R3292 looking for informationHi, Wellington R3292 115 Sqn crashed between Devern (Badbergen) and Grothe. This Wellington was shot down near where 38 Sqn R3219 was shot down which crashed at Quakenbruck. Theo Boiten book Nachtjagd Combat Archives states that these two aircraft were either shot down by Oblt Werner Streib of 2./NJG1 for his 6th victory, or Oblt Heinrich Griese of 2./NJG1 for his 2nd victory. Both claimed a Wellington shot down that crashed in the same area. Hope that helps, Cheers, John. ....Read More.John Williams on 14th August 2021 07:29:29
