Details for these casualties - Berwick-upon-TweedHi Simon As a start, Erskine was the pilot of Anson I,R3305,based at Hooton Park. The wing hit the ground during a turn in bad visibilty and the a/c crashed onto the beach at Hoylake,Cheshire.All on board were killed and it was engaged on a Convoy Patrol at the time.
