Abbreviations on Form 1180Can someone explain what some of these notations on an accident card mean? At the Top it has "FM ATO PSFE EFNK" over a crossed out line that reads NO 553 (11) Fatal The cause is listed as L.17 Under the comments section is has the following: E.F. (flt)... and broke cloud at 4000 after EF at 18000. This is the card for 615 Sqn Hurricane V6626 which crash-landed at Nevis Bay, Carnarvonshire on 11 Jul 1941, killing P/O Andrew A. Stephen.
