411130 - Unaccounted airmen - 30-11-1941
back from a weeks holiday! There is a Kevin Charles Jackman age 22 registered in Longside district, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I can't find a STEPHENSON to fit the bill but maybe his name is spelled a little different.
Yes Dennis, I quoted in error from the CWGC website. JACKMAN indeed was 416 Sqn and killed on active service (while engaged on non-operational flying duties or on the ground through enemy action). 416 Sqn that time based Peterhead and equipped with Spitfires Mk.II. Thanks for keeping me awake ! His name still is on my "unaccounted" list. Regards, Henk. ....Read More.Henk Welting on 8th February 2009 12:26:36

list of POW Stalag luft 7 BankauHi Alain, My father was Ernest Gooch, known as as Teddy or Ted Gooch, Flight Engineer on Lancasters 115 Squadron, flying out of Witchford near Ely, Cambridgeshire, he passed away in Feb 2004 aged 80. I have many interesting tales to tell of his time in the RAF and also his story of his time as a POW. I would be glad to know of anyone else who could flesh out the details of this period. Let me know if there is anything I can help with. Thanks John Gooch
Hello!
