156 Squadron's ND345/GT-C on 20/02/1944Hello Joss, Thanks for putting forward S/L W.C. Riches' crew In arriving at 4 DFCs you are correctly counting him as 2 with Watts and Lowe. I must admit I was thinking of recognised crew members (in this case 3) plus Harman and the A/B with DFMs and Redfern with an MID making 6 out of the 7 For the sake of good order, please can you name the A/B? I agree that there must be others, particularly in the PFF, but your suggested crew is top of the list until we know differently Since making the posting I've realised that it would probably be more accurate to give a percentage rating - in case someone comes up with a highly decorated Liberator crew! Runnymede Memorial - Known GravesHi, I have been researching the Runnymede Memorial, and have listed the following men who are listed on Runnymede Memorial but now have a known grave. Many were found after the memorial was erected in 1952 during the reconstruction of Europe. Many more recently are unknown airmens graves who have been identified by researchers throughout Europe. The Runnymede Mem currently (2011) commemorates 20,331 Numbers now with known graves. RAF 139 + 8 Addenda (147), RCAF 42, RAAF 20, RNZAF 9.
