400611 - Unaccounted airmen 11-6-1940What caused the death of following airmen: LAC Ronald W. HALLAM - 621765, killed on active service (Flight Global), buried Killead (St.Catherine) Church of Ireland Churchyard, Co. Antrim (UK7256). Sgt (Pilot) Norman L. PAGE - 740200, died of wounds or injuries received on active service (Flight Global), buried same churchyard as LAC HALLAM. Both may have been casualties on Henley L3308 of 3 BGS, crashed on approach Eglinton. AC1 Roy WYCHERLEY - 959146, whose name I can't find in The Times and Flight Global archives, buried Broughton (St.Paul) Churchyard, Denbighshire (UK8505). Regards and thanks for your help. 400611 - Unaccounted airmen 11-6-1940Hello Henk and a Merry Christmas, There is no entry in the England & Wales Deat index for Hallam or Page so Eglington is a possible. Roy Wycherley's death was registered at Buckrose District, North Yorkshire.(This area covered Scarborough and Bridlington) He was aged 22. Hope this is of some help.
