441018 - Unaccounted Airmen - 18-10-1944Hello HARRIES, Hubert James John - Chaplain - Sqdn/Ldr - 88005 - hhe Daily Mirror of Octoiber 20th 1944 reported the inquest into his death. It reports that he shot himself shortly after celebrating communion at an R.A.F. bomber station in the Midlands. He had recently returned from serving in North Africa on medical grounds, and was very upset about it. He had aslo spoken of domestic worries.
