I too just posted a thread to Henk..and then noticed his passing. So sorry about that. I am looking for info on Pilot Officer Holland who was downed with Baron and Graham on Jan 2, 1943. I am a caregiver to Graham and writing his story.

Ross can you help me please. Everytime I try to do a search - any search - it tells me I am not able to. If I go to my userid (profile) it shows that I have POSTS and when I select to go to my posts I am again told I do not have permission to look at my threads? I have just discovered that someone answered me last July with some very important information and I am still trying to find my POST - no luck. I can log in but I cannot search?? Can you help?

Hi Ross... I discovered the thread RCAF Penicillin Flights to Poland. My father was one of the pilots on the flight 9202 that crashed on Nov. 4th, 1945. I'm sorry to hear that Henk Welting has passed on. My condolences. He had left a message on the above thread with specific directions to the crash site which I plan to visit. If you have any recommendations of others who might also have this information I'd really appreciate it. Thank you, Kate Harling

My Sgt is researching a guy who served during the war at Chittagong on HQ 224 Group. What medals would he have got? For instance do they get the Burma Star? If you arent sure who would be a good person to talk to. We have found some of the guys personal records in the RAF Regiment Museum Archives though why he is in there is a mystery as he was a clerk (although we think it may be that he lived near Catterick and this was the nearest museum!)...
Am I right in thinking I need to go to google search to get to your thread search?
    Best wishes
    Dee
