Hello Regis, I have posted some info about my father George Campbell Tomlinson. I must say I'm curious about why you wanted some details about my father and if I can be of any use in providing more information, please let me know. Best wishes, Rex Tomlinson email:
  2. My uncle was the bomb aimer on that aircraft and I've done a fair amount of research on the crash. An excellent book was written by the Belgian Aviation Historical Association, about the raid on Louvain that night.

I have tried to find Barzeele's evader's report and have had no luck in the Canadian archives. I found references to it, but not the actual document. I do have a hand written report from Barzeele that describes the events of that night and there is info at the following website that describes what happened to him after he was picked up by the Belgian underground:

Barzeele passed away in Canada in the mid 1990's and unfortunately I had not located him prior to his passing.

There is some doubt in my mind as to where the aircraft went down, as there were two crashes fairly close together south of Brussels that night.

What is your interest in this crash?

    John Preston
