Member of aircrew discharged 1945 - KR + ACI 652 cl 4 (b)
Please can anybody clarify what this might be,
I am looking at the RAF Service Record of a member of operational aircrew who survived a nasty crash, returned to Ops but several months later was posted to RAF Hospital Halton and then ACDU (Aircrew Disposal Unit) Keresley Grange. That was followed by a posting to 1 P.H.U. (sup P.P.) some 6 weeks later and then 3 or 4 months afterwards he was Disch. KR + ACI 652 cl 4 (b) - I think that's it, a you know these are handwritten - in April 1945. Is it a no longer medically fit ?
cheers Pete

Pete
ACI 652 cl. 4 (B) is mentioned on here:
http://ww2talk.com/index.php?threads...8/#post-655454
The post states:
King's Regulations & Air Council Instructions Para 652 (4B) which means that he was "Invalided: physically unfit for air force services".
