Hi Peter,
yes thats Clerides, ex President of Cyprus. The aircraft and most men ended up in the Nth Sea, but he landed by parachute in a cow field on land. He ended up at Stalag VIIIB, credited with numerous escape attempts. In an old interveiw I saw, he mentions how he stood up in the dark and surrendered to a German, before realising that it wasn't a German when the figure in the dark 'moo-ed' and walked away on four legs. Would love to find a photo of this crew.
