Based on that sounds like something like a heart attack etc
Aircraftman 1st Class Alexander McINNES (85063)
His service record just says "Died" while he was at 21 AD. He was a Butcher/Cook ex WW1 and had re-enlisted as Class E Reserve 27th June 1939 and was from Campbelltown Scotland
McInnes was born 29-1-1889 so in all possibility he died of natural causes
At this eriod up to early 1940 casualty service numbers were published by Flight magazine so
Smith, McInnes, Hyland, Yates, Collins are all DOAS
Frank Ashton Bowyer an RAF mechanic was the driver of a motor cycle that was in collision with a bus 4 miles from Chester on 1st Sept 1939. He subsequently died but his passenger Thomas Ernest Jones a RAF Flight Mechanic survived and gave evidence at Inquest from a stretcher. I assume as he died 2 days later in hospital and as a result qualified for inclusion in CWCG list

He was walking with another airman: Aircraftsman Robert Andrew Heath when he was hit. The Van was on wrong side of the road and the driver had been drinking that is why he charged with Manslaughter
