Aircraft Markings - 12 SFTS RAF Grantham / Spitalgate
Hello,
I'm trying to find out the markings worn by 12 SFTS Airspeed Oxford, AB767, which was lost in a mid-air collision over Grantham, Lincolnshire, on October 11, 1941.
I have been unable to find any images or book references to 12 SFTS aircraft of that time, so I would be interested to know of any unit markings worn by its aircraft - especially AB767!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Tom

I wonder whether you have had any joy in your searches?
I too am trying to locate the markings on a particular Blenheim lost on the south coast at Fairlight near Hastings on 16th December 1940 with the loss of all three crew.
There must have been some record of the letters applied to particular aircraft but I can't seem to find anyone who knows much about it. Any luck?
