Collision in the Early Hours
RAF man recieved fatal injuries and two others seriously hurt when the
car in which they were driving was in collison with a lorry at Bagshot on Thursday
of last week.
Dead man was Cpl. Yates and the others were Flight-Sergt Bateman and Flight-Sergeant Kurht (sic)
The driver of the lorry Albert Curtis of Covelly escaped without injury.
Accident occured after 2 o'clock Thursday morning at the junction of London Road
and Guildford Road.
Yates died shortly after admission to hospital
Kurht is LAURENCE JAMES KUHRT Service Number 580042. Died 17/12/1941.
