Re: F/O Stanley Warren Reeder (172402) 608 Squadron Lost over Berlin 11/10/44
Col,
Thank You, Very Much for this - it's much more detailed than the summary I found, I'm really grateful for your help.
I've just heard from F/S RJ (Bob) Bolton's Niece and she has shared his service photo and will be forwarding his 1944 diary.
I will keep everyone appraised of progress as and when I know more about Stan and Bob and that final mission to Berlin.
With Warmest Regards,
Kevin

Kevin,
That is great news. Even greater news would be if we could all see this material, instead of it being bottled up in some dusty filing cabinet until someone sees fit to publish selected items of it. Jagan, or one of the Mods, could assist in putting it up on the RAFCommands Forum.
Please give it some thought.
Col.
Re: F/O Stanley Warren Reeder (172402) 608 Squadron Lost over Berlin 11/10/44
Col,
Absolutely !
I want to tell the story of Stan & Bob on a human level, I want to understand what they both did in their all too short lives that brought them to that fateful night on 11/12th October 1944. Between the UK, Australia, the US and Germany I'm learning much by the hour, and I'll make the trip to Nedlitz, Potsdam and Berlin and record that in as much detail as possible.
Warmest Regards,
Kevin
