Thanks, Ross, for the prompt response as the result of which I'm halfway there already

When we collected cigarette cards (happy days!) the last in the sets were always the most difficult to find!!

Thank you, Errol, for completing the collection

Unfortunately, because of computer trouble, I've only just accessed your response hence a belated (but very appreciative) acknowledgement

    Kind regards,
    Aubrey

Default Air Bomber Training (FAO Errol Martyn please)

I've just found that I omitted 6 AOS from my request for locations

My man was posted there on 24 November 1942 before going to 6 (O) AFU Staverton in March 1943 so I'm wondering if Strutivant can come up with yet another answer

    Kind regards,
    Aubrey

    Aubrey,

According to Sturtivant, 6AOS was at Staverton at the time with detachments at Aberporth 28.6.42 - 9.1.43 and Moreton Valence 17.1.42 - 1.6.43.

    On 11.6.43 6AOS was redesignated 6 (O) AFU.

    Errol
