    Can anyone I.D the Master Bomber on the raid against Saarbrucken 5/6th October 1944. Call sign "CARTEX"

    Steve. 405 Squadron sent 16 Lancasters on this op. 1 Primary visual marker, 6 blind illuminators, 3 blind markers, 2 visual centerers, and 4 supporters.

    I have checked and it was'nt anyone from 156 Sqn.

    Steve. There was two aiming points. There was also 3 Lancaster VI's, possibly these particular aircraft.
