    Default W/Cdr W.J Smith 39134

    Gents,

Looking for any details on the above. Squadron Leader W.J Smith 39134 arrived on 218 squadron on October 21st 1944 from No.115 Squadron, on arrival he was promoted to wing commander and assumed command of No.218 Squadron. Would like any details on his time pre-115 Squadron.

    TIA

    Steve

    Mark,

Great thank you. From what I have been told he spent most of the war with Training Command. Hoping to confirm.

    Thanks again.
