    Default Frank Hughes RAFVR,1080084 149 Squadron. Died 10th November 1942.

    I recently posted for CWG burials in Swinton Cemetery, Manchester which I have been researching.

    Now need help with several burials in Agecroft Cemetery, Salford, Manchester, will post seperate for each man.

    I am trying to establish the circumstances and place of death of each man.

    Frank Hughes RAFVR,1080084 149 Squadron. Died 10th November 1942. Age 28.

    Death likely registered at Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.

    using Geoffs search engine for the CWGc database, there are 6 149 Men died that day,

    Summary
    On the 10th November 1942, Stirling W7582 crashed during a training exercise, following a fire in the starboard outer engine. W7582 crashed at 1657 hours just to the east of Kingsway road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, UK, and all the crew were killed.
