    Default GRO War Death Index

Does anyone have access to the GRO War death index that is available on www.Findmypast.co.uk?
If so would they mind looking up which unit Brian Rouse Terry was attached to at the time of his death.
    Thanks
    Andy

    Default Google is your friend

it lists it as ME Com. Sqdn.

He was discussed on the old board, search in google for the following:

    rouse site:rafcommands.com

    Try this link
    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:su0OrF8uwmkJ:www.rafcommands.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi%3Faz%3Dshow_thread%26om%3D17072%26foru m%3DDCForumID6+rouse+site:rafcommands.com&cd=1&hl= en&ct=clnk

he has details in Errols For your Tomorrow book and a digitised file on Australian national archives.

    And this more recent thread:
    http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?8725-Brian-Rouse-Terry-601-Sqn

need to make good use of the search functions out there, Ross has explained the forum internal search function is not up and running yet. use the power of google.

Can't work out why this info is not in my files but I had a feeling I had done this before.
