    Default Hurricane Serials LF--- Range

    Hello,

    Could someone with access to the A-B LA100 to LZ999 Volume, please provide me with the service history/fates of the following Hurricane serials in the LF--- range?

    LF537, LF567, LF577 and LF584.

    All help appreciated.

    LF537; 1690 Flt. SOC 1-11-45.
    LF567; 1687 Flt/1667 CU. Engine cut. Undershot night landing, Lindholme, 30-4-45.
    LF577; 567 Sqn. Dived into ground, out of cloud, Stockbury, Kent, 23-11-44.
    LF584; 567 Sqn. Spun into ground, out of cloud, Lenham, Kent, 1-12-44.

    Took off Hornchurch, detailed to carry out an Ack-Ack Co-operation flight. Aircraft crashed 1130 in Squirrel Wood, Stockbury, Kent and the pilot was killed.

    AUS9344 F/Sgt William Henry DANIEL RAAF +

    Buried Maidstone Cemetery, Kent.

    1-12-1944
    No.567 Sqn.
    Hurricane IIC LF584 14:X

    Took off Hornchurch, to carry out an Ack-Ack Co-operation non-operational exercise. The aircraft was airborne approx 35-40 minutes when it crashed 1206, at Marley Farm, Lenham, Kent. The pilot was killed.

    AUS423437 F/Sgt Milton Lloyd WILLIAMS RAAF +

    Buried Brookwood Military Cemetery.
