Default 1684109 Joseph Wunderley RAFVR, Sgt, Flt Eng. 100 Sqn. Died 17th December 1943

I am researching on behalf of a local history group several RAF and RAFVR service men who are buried in Commonwealth War Graves in Agecroft Cemetery Manchester. I already have the information provided by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. I have made a seperate post for each person.

I am looking for information for the following person, details and reason for death, service records, any other information you may feel would be of interest.

1684109 Joseph Wunderley RAFVR, Sgt, Flt Eng. 100 Sqn.

    Died 17th December 1943. Age 23.

    Death likely registered at Louth.

    Kind regards,
    Sue

Lancaster Mk.III serial JB560 of 100 Sqn (Coded HW-N) crashed homebound from a raid on Berlin near Aerodrome Kelstern in Lincolnshire, probably due to bad weather conditions (bad visibility).
