    Default L. Trevors RCAF R/73036

A reader of my web pages has just acquired an old watch engraved on the back with

    R73036
    L TREVORS
    RCAF

The numbers is a bit hard to read at the end, and might be R73035. Can anybody tell me anything about this person?

A Sgt (Airbomber) L.A. Trevors (svcnr not known) was twice involved in accidents on Halifax aircraft 78 Sqn:
    Halifax - BB239 - 15/16-10-1942, and
    Halifax - DT516 - 7/8-11-1942.
    See Chorley's Vol. 3 pages 240 and 256.

No Bill, he's not. Ascertained in the past that sometimes 'RCAF' wrongly was omitted from some entries in the book. Therefore I mentioned both his initials "L.A.".
    Regards,
    Henk.
