    Default P/O N. Carter, 257 Sqn, POW

    Hi all,
11 Mar 1944, P/O N. Carter, 257 Sqn, Typhoon JR151 was shot down near Barfleur (E of Cherbourg), France. He became POW. Iīd like to know more about him. His full name, service number, where he comes from...
LG pages – I found nothing. The initial can be wrong or incomplete.
    Regards
    Mojmir

There is no N Carter on Ross's POW lists,

What your source for N Carter?

One source for P/O N Carter (PoW), is:

    The Typhoon & Tempest Story.
    Thomas,Chris & Christopher Shores.
    London:Arms & Armour Press,1988
    p.201.

    Another is FCL3/23.

    Hi,
The Rossīs list isnīt perfect. What is it? In the Chris Thomasīs books, e. g. there are 21 pilotsī names beginning with a capital letter “C” and who became POW flying Typhoon. But 11 of them are not in the Rossīs list. In the sources the initials/names can be misspelled.

Remind me not to make suggestions to you in future, I was simply pointing out the lists existed.
