Default P/O Forrest Melvin Cox 121 sqn

    Hello all,
P/O Forrest Melvin Cox (USA) was with 121 Sqn at Kirton-in Lindsey, when he had a flying accident on 3-11-41 in presumably a Spitfire IIa.
Can anyone please tell me what the serial number of his a/c. His injuries were serious and he left the sqn on 10-11-41. Also what was his RAFVR service number.
Thanks to all for your previous help.
    Roy

    Hello,

From Phil Listeman's book about No. 121 Squadron, his service number was 103468.

I couldn't find no mention of the accident in the book, though.

    Many thanks for that Joss.
I did omit to say that before arriving at 121 sqn he trained at 55 OTU.
    Thanks,
    Roy
