421202 - Unaccounted airman - 2-12-1942

F/O Harold L.C. WOOLLEY - 89816 - 152 Sqn - died/was killed 2-12-1942 and lies buried in the Massicault War Cem., Tunisia. Cant find a matching Spitfire serial number. Those that come close are:
Mk. V.B - ER671 - shot down near Souk el Arba, Tunisia - 29-11-1942
Mk. IX - ER333 - shot down by fighters near Souk el Arba - 3-12-1942.

Here is what Christopher Shores et al, has to say:

Thursday, 3 December 1942.

12 Spitfires of 152 Squadron also flew a sweep, but these were jumped by 30 bf 109s and Fw 190s, and retired in disorder, P/O Glenwright (J/10264 P/O George Edward GLENWRIGHT RCAF + 28-12-1942) being shot down, but returning later, and F/O 'Rollo' Woolley was last seen diving after an Fw190, but did not return.

Fighters over Tunisia/86-90.

Like the CWGC, the No.152 Sqn site*, also quotes Woolley's date of death as 2-12-1942. As most of the RAF material in FOT is sourced from the respective ORB's, I think FOT is more reliable.
