    Default USAAF 381st Bombardment Group (Heavy) - operation details

    Researchers might find the 381st War Diaries website at (http://www.381st.org/History/WarDiaries.aspx) a useful data source. I appreciate most USAAF operations were flown by day but the individual squadron diaries provide some interesting references to flying conditions (amongst other things).

    The diaries cover June 1943 to April 1945.

    Edit. Found the entry for a Courts Martial on 3 August 1944 a good read!
