Default Lancaster ED718 61 Sqd, lost 2/3 Nov 1943 over Munich.

Anyone got any info on who shot this Lanc down? It was attacked by a nightfighter South of Munich on the way out of the target on the 2nd of October 1943...

    Regards, Chris

    Hi Chris,
You're a month out, it was 2/3rd October 43, a possible candidate for this is, Hpmn Rudlof Sigmund, who claimed a Lancaster South of Munich.

    Hi Chris,

Theo Boiten lists Ofw Hans Kreutzberg of 5./NJG101 as the most likely nightfighter pilot that night for his one and only victory.
