AC2 Frederick HILL - 1669195,
who both died on active service.

Also looking for cause of death of following airmen:

F/O Anthony ('Tony') V. AMBERG - 111468 - 1 ADU - not found in Flight Global - buried Heliopolis War Cem., Egypt, and

F/Sgt (Pilot) Clifford L.B. JANES - 1257610 - 213 Sqn (Misurata West, Libya) - killed on active service, buried Tripoli War Cem. (213 Sqn flying Hurricanes, can't find a matching a/c srial in my files).

Is it possible assignment "213 Sqn" is incorrect for F/Sgt (Pilot) Clifford L.B. JANES - 1257610 ? Found for this day the loss of a 89 Sqn Beaufighter which crashed on landing at Misurata West, home base for 213 Sqn.

'Motor cycle dispatch rider with RAF Volunteer Reserves (No 1669195) killed during blackout.'
